Commentaire : After looking at several hotel options we settled on the Grand Canal Hotel and weren't disappointed! The location was ideal for the Aircoach and the city centre was a just 15 minute walk away! Because it's set in such a lovely part of Dublin we even felt safe walking back to the hotel after midnight! (Or, if you don't want to walk, the DART station is just across the road!) I would recommend this hotel and the adjoining Gasworks bar and restaurant! Great food and service!

Commentaire : The hotel's Gasworks restuarant is absolutely excellent for a reasonably priced evening meal from an interesting menu. They don't penny pinch on portions either and the waiting staff were more than attentive and it was nice to note that a second pot of tea ordered with desserts was complimentary.
On the other hand a full Irish in the morning at €13.75 is pure extortion! So, we took the alternate option, we checked out and had a similar breakfast on the Green for €4.95.....
