Quality of breakfast spoilt by industrial extractor fans and decor in dining room is tired. We ate outside.

Commentaire : For a hotel that prides itself on being a supreme heritage hotel and a first class provider of hospitality services, the room sound insulation was deplorable. One could hear everything being said and done in the next door room. This made overall in-room relaxation difficult, if not impossible.

Commentaire : A very polished, well-run hotel with very friendly, charming and professional staff. Its not super modern and hi-tech, neither is it cluttered up with bric-a-brac from the past. Superb location and currently just about good value for money. Much better than than other 300-room 5-star joints with no personality.

Commentaire : We found the E&O a wonderuful friendly place. The hotel is very grand but never did we feel you had to be grand. Most relaxing time had and felt very much at home there. Great location in Georgetown if you are not bothered about beaches.

Commentaire : I love the elegance of this hotel, where nothing is too much trouble and every single staff member greets you with a smile. It'ss an oasis of beauty and tranquillity amid the sometimes hectic charms of George Town.
