Comment: This is a well positioned hotel in Le Gosier with some excellent facilities including a lovely warm swimming pool. The hotel is very clean and well presented with polite and friendly staff. There are a few downsides, though. The restaurant and bar are very expensive. We only had breakfast there once at 19 Euros a head and that was nothing special. Dinner is about 38 Euros a head not counting drinks. They have the cheek to sell soft drinks such as cola for 5.50 Euros. We did not bother!!!However, there are quite a few restaurants within walking distance at much more sensible prices. The baguette lady just up the road does a great omelette breakfast with a fruit drink for 10 Euros for two!!! This was a great place to stay for our 10 days visiting Guadelopue. A rented car is essential if you want to see both main islands. A touch of France in the Carribean.

Comment: I was at a disatvantage since I came from the US. Thankfully I spoke French. Reservations should say that the Mahoganny is part of the Creole Spa complex. I has a HARD time finding the hotel for this reason. Front desk should be more understanding when non Europeens ask for the conversion rate of the Euro to the US$ (for exapmple). GOLD stars to the folks that helped with tours and activities. They were excellent!!!!!!

Comment: Il manque juste quelques panneaux indicateurs pour trouver cet hotel quand vous arrivez à la pointe de la Verdure, au Gosier.
