Comment: The two reception staff, Sara and Mara were very helpful. Talamone is a beautiful location but public transport is restricted so for any longer that a few days I'd recommend hiring a car. That said when we sorted out the buses and trains they were reliable and turned up on time.

Comment: The Hotel Campo D'Uomo a wonderful break from traveling Tuscany before heading to Rome. It was on of the easiest to get to by driving. Yes, the rooms were small but the location and the views from the balcony made up for it. The service at the reception desk was excellent. Parking was free. The rooms were exceptionally clean. It is a very relaxing, quiet place. The beach was something we never had experienced before, being from the US, we are used to sandy beaches of Lake Michighan. One day we rented chairs at the public beach for 10,00 euros a person. The next day we used the private stairway from the hotel to sit on the rocks took a picnic lunch and enjoyed the beach.Talomone is a very small village, but one of the most beautiful, we have ever been to. It is away from all the typical tourist areas. Nice little cafes on the waterfront. One of our favorite restaurants was La Buca. The food was excellent. The waiter, Roberto was one of the best we encounterd in Italy. V. Christian USA

Comment: We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel, first of all because of the kindness and hospitality of the staff, second of all because of the stunning seeview from the rooms which makes up for the fact that the rooms are relatively small.
