Comment: As far as hotels in China and Macau go, it's "buyer beware!" You never know what you are going to get, stars and ratings don't really mean anything. I was very pleasantly surprised at how clean the room was! And the room did not have the usual cigarette smell that hotels in China always have. (although the lobby was filled with people smoking) The room was decorated in the typical Nouveau Chinese Black & Gold theme, which can be a bit much sometimes, but this was done well. Huge bathroom with tub and shower, king size bed, refrigerator, kettle with tea and instant coffee & bottled water in the room. The location is great; walking distance to the historical section of Macau and across the street from the Wyn, MGM, L'Arch, LIsboa and Star World Galaxy hotel/casinos. I had a great view from my 17th floor room of those hotels for half of the price! It's right by the bridge to the other island and it's easy to get taxis. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. Skip the breakfast.
