Comment: Had no hot water and nothing was done( made two complaints) until I left without having a shower. Password for free wi-fi didn't work the whole time i was there

Comment: 1) was originally booked into an occupied room. Potentially embarrassing. 2) Was then put in a suite as they were otherwise full, but only a limited number of TV channels were tuned in. 3) Shower-over-bath leaked onto the floor from under the bath - it wasn't a misplaced shower curtain... 4) Was woken at 7:45 am sunday morning by circular saws and pneumatic drills by workmen on the pavement side working on one of the hotel's trees. 5) Housekeeping disturbed us again at 9am on sunday morning - and the general attitude is it was 'my fault' for not leaving a 'do not disturb' sign out! There was no notice in the room to say that housekeeping start early (I don't think the room had been used for a while - there was no hospitality information at all), and I generally don't expect to have to expressly ask not to be disturbed at 9am a sunday morning, Especially as there was no sign of anyone on saturday until after we left our room at gone 10... At that point we gave up, packed the car, and went home.

Comment: I did not have a laptop to connect with wifi, so I tried using the internet service provided there. It just would not validate my visa card and could not get the service by paying cash at reception. I also tried phoning home overseas with the pay phone provided but this would not work for me either. I felt a bit isolated, otherwise I could not complain about anything else. Would recommend this Hotel to a friend

Comment: I felt the evening staff were very rude in the manner they spoke in. In the morning when checking out I was greeted by a woman of asian origin, she was lovely. But the gentleman from the evening previous was utterly shameful.

Comment: Television signal was poor - aerial lead was broken but I managed to do a temporary repair. Remote control did not work. Otherwise facilities very good. Very impressed with the speed in which reception were able to book me a taxi. Staff very helpful and polite - nothing was too much trouble.
